Eye illustrations for patient information

Producing detailed high-end illustrations for The Danish Eye Society's magazine and video publications.

We have worked in collaboration with The Danish Eye Society since 2001 and helped them with numerous visual communication tasks by producing 2D illustrations and 3D animations for their publications.

The Danish Eye Society publishes 4 issues annually of their members’ magazine along with brochures and videos, all of which target patients suffering from eye diseases. In their publications they often need to show anatomical details of the eye or symptoms associated with various eye diseases.

Photographs of these things are often uncomfortable to look at and do not necessarily show key elements in a clear and understandable manner. Thus our task has always been to convert the scientific essence to an aesthetic and educational visual presentation.

  • We use an overall style which is aesthetic and pleasant to look at regardless of the subject matter.
  • We base each production on detailed descriptions and reference photos and deliver a representative and scientifically accurate visualisation of the subject.
  • In the end, all illustrations and 3D visualisations are approved by an eye doctor in order to ensure a high scientific level.

The final product is an anatomically correct visualisation that gives a clear understanding of a complex disease or subject matter.

The Danish Eye Society’s long and continued use of our services is a testament to their satisfaction with our products.

As an illustration company Mediafarm possesses a very high level of technical ingenuity… Within the field of medical and biological illustration I would even say “second to none”.
